Epoxy countertops create seamless, custom surfaces that can replicate marble, granite, or achieve completely unique designs impossible with natural stone. Unlike tile or stone, epoxy has no grout lines or seams where bacteria can grow. The cured surface is non-porous, seamless, and highly stain-resistant. We apply a protective clear topcoat rated for heat resistance up to 200°C, providing a durable, easy-to-clean work surface over laminate, tile, MDF, or plywood substrates.
How It Works
We prepare the substrate, whether that is an existing countertop, MDF or plywood, so the system bonds properly. Laminate, tile and solid surface can usually be coated over after prep. A bonding primer goes down first, then the design pour begins. Pigments, metallic powders and manipulation techniques create marble veining, granite effects, solid colours or abstract designs. A heat gun pulls air bubbles while the epoxy self-levels. Once cured we apply a protective clear topcoat for UV protection, scratch resistance and an easy-to-clean surface.

Our Installation Process
Surface Assessment
Evaluating the existing substrate. We can usually coat over laminate, tile or solid surface counters after proper preparation. Damaged or unstable substrates may need replacing.
Substrate Preparation
Cleaning, sanding and priming for adhesion. The substrate has to be clean, dry and free of contaminants. Edges are prepared for seamless coverage.
Design Consultation
Finalizing your colour scheme, pattern style and any special effects. We produce custom samples for approval on larger projects.
Design Pour
Pouring and manipulating the epoxy with pigments and metallics to build your pattern. Torching clears air bubbles while the material is still workable.
Cure Period
Allowing proper cure time before the topcoat goes on. Rushing this step compromises the final result.
Protective Clear Topcoat
Applying protective, UV-stable clear topcoat for durability, heat resistance, and ease of cleaning. Full cure in 2 to 4 days depending on conditions.

Care & Maintenance
Use cutting boards. Never cut directly on epoxy, it will scratch. Use trivets or heat pads for hot pans and pots. Even with a high heat rating, direct contact with cookware straight off the stove or out of the oven causes damage over time. Clean with mild soap and water or a standard multi-surface cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach and abrasive scrubbers, which dull the finish. Wipe spills up promptly. The surface is non-porous, but strong pigments like turmeric or red wine can stain if left sitting.
