What is Solid Color Floors?
Solid colour epoxy floors deliver a clean, seamless finish in a uniform tone using commercial 100% solids epoxy. This system pairs pigmented epoxy for deep concrete bond with a high-performance urethane topcoat for scratch resistance and colour retention. While textured flake floors naturally camouflage everyday dust, solid colour provides a clean, modern aesthetic preferred for workshops, utility areas, and commercial facilities.
How It Works
We diamond grind the concrete to open the pores and establish an anchor profile. Once moisture testing confirms acceptable levels, we install two coats of pigmented 100% solids epoxy, building 20+ mils of dry film thickness. The system is finished with a commercial urethane topcoat, which offers greater surface hardness and scratch resistance on smooth, non-textured floors.

First Epoxy Coat
Applying the first layer of pigmented 100% solids epoxy in the chosen color. This coat penetrates and bonds mechanically to the prepared concrete.
Second Epoxy Coat
Second coat of pigmented 100% solids epoxy to achieve uniform opacity and full 20+ mil build.
Urethane Topcoat

Care & Maintenance
Sweep or dust mop regularly to remove grit that can scratch the surface. Clean with water and a pH-neutral cleaner as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For stubborn stains, a soft bristle brush works well. The seamless surface prevents dirt buildup in cracks or grout lines. Note: dark and gloss finishes show dust and footprints more readily than lighter or satin finishes.
